Synopsis:
This love story is loosely based on the life of William Shakespeare during the time when he was writing comedy plays for a living. Will (Fiennes) meets and falls in love with Viola (Paltrow), a gentle lady who is betrothed to a lord who is unrefined and the complete opposite of Will. Viola is determined to fill her life with poetry and joins the troupe of actors by pretending to be a man.
