I sat down and watched this with my 9 year old son and wife. There was enough football to keep my son amused and enough cut stuff with the little girl to keep my wife interested as well. I could have used more Roselyn Sanchez, but that is just my opinion. The movie is a fairly predictable story, but it works on the strength of the stars. The Rock shows some great comedic timing and a decent range of acting ability. Maybe we will lose another action star to family comedies like Vin Diesel. There is no bad language or adult situations. Aside from mentioning a death and the little girl getting ill once, it is all very tame stuff and very family friendly. This is a good one to watch with your loved ones.
