What a great concept we have here, vampires invading an Alaskan town that has 30 days of darkness, brilliant. This comic adaptation was pulled off very nicely, I was expecting Hollywood to simply destroy this great idea but everything seemed to work. The gore level was very good, and I was happy to see the vampires as merely visceral killing machines and not romantic aristocrats. The main complaint I have is the timeline, everything is just kind of glossed over and it's almost as if things take place in one night instead of a month. In that respect everything just seems off but besides that it's a pretty top notch vampire movie and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
