Without the voice of Lorenzo Music, the original voice actor for Garfield, this movie seemed to be a tribute to him. Bill Murray played Garfield perfectly and Jennifer Love Hewitt played Liz too well. I loved this movie when I first watched it, It was nice to see some of the names of characters used too, except Nermal wasn't going on and on about being the "World's Cutest Kitten" which drove Garfield into his ritual of boxing Nermal and sending him overseas. It is a major change from the books and the characters without their quirks didnt seem as lively. However it was nice to see Jon and Liz finally get their relationship going, too bad they couldnt find a dog like Odie... though a cardboard piece would have sufficed but that would be too intelligent for Odie. This movie is pretty funny and feels like a Homeward Bound movie, this movie may not be the best but it's a change from the Animated shorts and specials from years past.
