Great concept. Great story. But the creatures themselves? I wouldn't call them vampires. They were more like land sharks with their mouthful of razor sharp teeth and nasty habit of violently tearing flesh from their victims. The fact that they had their own language was a neat quirk. But they were too sloppy. They spilled more blood than they swallowed. So for that, they rate a 0 on the vampometer. Aside from that, it's a good siege film.
